Edith Williamson 91, of Sidney, KY, past away Friday July 13, 2018 at her residence. Edith was born January 28, 1927 at Canada, KY, to the late Harvey Crigger and Martha Jane Hankins Crigger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen Williamson, who died April 5, 2006; her son, Eddie Williamson; her sisters, Bessie Pauley, Gladys Williamson, Opal Blackburn, Hazel Smith, Inis Brown and Marie Allen and by her brothers, Perry Andrew Crigger, Earl Crigger and Cecil Crigger. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dix Fork Old Regular Baptist Church since 1971.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda (Howard) Phillips of Sidney, KY; daughter-in-law, Anita Williamson of Sidney, KY; grandchildren, Allison Price, Meredith Eastwood and James (Susan) Williamson; great grandchildren, Keaton Eastwood, Ayla Brenn Eastwood, Trinity Price, Hailey Price, Elainea Williamson and Branden Williamson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 15, 2018, after 6 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with special services at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at the Dix Fork Old Regular Baptist Church beginning at 1 PM on Monday, July 16, 2018, with Stoney Blackburn and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Cochran Cemetery, Sidney, KY with her family and friends serving as pallbearers. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is serving the Williamson Family.
