Arnold W. Topp, 72, of 531 E. Second St., a retired Soo Line Railroad employee, died today at his home.
Born Aug. 27, 1903, in the Town of Osceola, he was the son of the late Julius and Bertha Steinberg Topp Sr. He never married.
Mr. Topp is survived by a brother, Elmer J. of Manitowoc; and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Lillian) Wappler of Fond du Lac. A sister and five brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, where he was a member. Pastor Karl A. Gurgel will officiate, and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.
Friends of Mr. Topp may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bidlingmaier-Hornby Funeral Home and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of services.
