Lillian L. Wappler, 98, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, where she was a resident.
She was born June 18, 1906, in the Town of Eden, to Julius and Bertha Steinberg Topp.
On June 18, 1929, she married Lawrence H. Wappler at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Forest. He died Feb. 9, 1975.
She was employed at Hills Department Store, and she was a member at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Dorothea Wappler of Sheboygan; six grandchildren, Michael (special friend Tammy Hoesy) Wappler, Mark (Judy) Wappler, Steve (Deborah L.) Wappler, Bob (Lisa) Wappler, Michele Wappler and Marla (special friend Cindy Schlicke) Wappler; 25 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Warren.
