Mrs. Mary Linville Died Tuesday in St. Francis Hospital-

Mrs. Mary Linville died Tuesday, June 6, 9:30 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville, where she had been a patient since April 29, when her car was overturned on Highway 46, northeast of Skidmore, as she was on her way to Maryville. Mrs. Linville seemed to have suffered no serious injuries in the accident, and several times her recovery seemed assured. She was 78 years old.

The Rosary was said at the Price Funeral Hoe, Thursday, at 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, at St. Patrick's Church in Maryville. The Rev. Fr. R.E. Graham will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Linville was born December 1, 1872, on a farm east of Maryville, the daughter of John Diss and Catherine Schonen Diss.

On May 10, 1892 she was married to Aaron Linville, at the home of her parents. Her husband preceded her in death July 16, 1936.

Mrs. Linville is survived by two sons and a daughter: Everett Linville, of Skidmore; Francis Linville, of Washington D.C.; and Mrs. L.D. Watson, of Skidmore. There are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are a brother, Louis Diss, and a sister, Miss Elizabeth Diss, both of Des Moines, Iowa.
