Alva D. Landes, 92, of Covington, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1928 to Daniel and Rachael Landes. On April 24, 1949 he married Pauline Fisher and she survives.
Surviving with his wife are three sons, Daryl, Duane and Bruce, two daughters, Bonita and Areda and one brother, Dennis. Preceding him in death are his parents, daughter Janet and three sisters; Lela, Bernice and Delma.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 6360 Farrington Rd., Covington. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-5 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are in care of Moore Funeral Home, Covington.
