Born in Hartshorne, he was the son of George Robert and Eva Rocklene (Galoski) Swboni. He married Mary Pingleton in 1964 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He passed away at the age of 63 in McAlester. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Victor Swboni, John Swboni and George Robert Swboni II and three special sisters-in-law, Marcella Swboni, Lenora Swboni and Betty Swboni.
