Mary Ann Smith, 90, formerly of Hartshorne, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013, in Parma, Ohio. She was born September 14, 1923, in Hartshorne, to George and Eva (Galoski) Swboni. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Bateman; grandson, Billy Bateman, and his spouse, Jerri; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Erica Bateman; sister, Harlan Erwin; brothers, Joe Swboni and Stanley Swboni; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Ron Bateman; brothers, Mike, John, George and Frank Swboni; sisters, Nellie and Katherine. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Hartshorne. With Father Hung Viet Le officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.
