Emma R. Wick, 83, rural Marble, died Friday, July 9, 1999, in the hospice unit of St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Born Sept. 5, 1915, in Sheffield, Mass., she was the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Bunkowski) Feldt. She grew up and attended the schools in the Frazee area and had been a resident of the Marble area since 1936. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace English Lutheran Church of Marble and the Greenway Snowmobile Club.

Survivors include two sons, Orval (Donna) Wick of Hoyt Lakes and Curtis (Kim) Wick of Aurora; a daughter, Sandy (Richard) Fox of Deer River; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Henry (Margaret) Feldt of International Falls, MN, Harold Feldt of Libby, MT, and Marvin (Marian) Feldt of Frazee; four sisters, Olga Neske of Frazee, Millie Anderson of International Falls, Evie (Alfred) Poser of Bovey, and Elsie (Wilbert) Illg of Burbank, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Fred and Bertha Feldt; her husband, Clarence E. Wick in 1972; three brothers, Fred, Jr., Edward, and Edwin; and two sisters, Sally Illg and Freda Osterman preceded her in death.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 12 in Peterson Funeral Chapel, Coleraine, and continued from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, July 13 in the Grace English Lutheran Church, Marble, with the Rev. Timothy D. Schellenbach officiating. Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
