Fred Feldt Jr. is the son of Fred A. and Bertha (Bunkowski) Feldt. He was married to Augusta Kain, daughter of Carl and Louise (Witske) Kain on February 19, 1934. Fred and Gustie have lived in Toad Lake Township all of their married life, and are members of the Zion Lutheran Church of Toad Lake. They are the parents of two sons: Leroy and Emory. Their sons attended District #94 school and walked to both school and confirmation classes. Leroy was born My 6, 1934, and is married to Evangeline Fisher. They reside in Frazee and are the parents of four children: Roxanne, Larry, Lloyd, and Rita. Emory has three children: Darwin, Karlene and Kristine. He and his wife Shirley, are over the road truck drivers. Fred and Gustie were honored on their Golden Wedding Anniversary with a reception held at Snellman Gethsemane Lutheran Church in 1984 hosted by their children, and seven grandchildren and thirteen great granchildren.
