Mrs. Mary Coffman Rites Announced
EDINBURG, Nov. 4 – Mrs. Mary Coffman, age 87, widow of James Coffman, former residents of the Camp Atterbury area, died at 7 a.m. Friday at the home of her son, Earl Coffman, in Indianapolis. She had been ill for several months. She had been at her son's home about a year.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Edinburg Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend the services.
Lived in Edinburg
Mrs. Coffman was born in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Samuel and Patsy Coy. She was united in marriage to James Coffman, who preceded her in death about 15 years ago. After her husband's death Mrs. Coffman moved to Edinburg and lived on South Pleasant Street until she went to the home of her son a year ago.
Survivors are the son, Earl Coffman, two grandsons, Cecil and Glen Dale Coffman and two great grandsons, all of Indianapolis.
Also remaining is a brother, R. A. Coy of Edinburg. Five brothers and two sisters preceded Mrs. Coffman in death. Mr. Coy is the last member of the immediate family. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
