Mr. Ridgell attended St. Michael's School. He was in the U.S. Army from January 1964 to January 1966. He was a plumber for the Architect of the Capitol. Mr. Ridgell played Slowpitch Softball for the Southridge Bush Hogs and Young Men's League Baseball for the Brass Rail Strugglers. He was the coach for the Over-35 Women's League team at Brass Rail. In honor of Mr. Ridgell, the team will be renamed Country's Girls.

He loved hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger; he was a good
friend to all.
