Mr. Rhynes was born August 27, 1938, in Anson, TX., to Rupert Clarence and Lois(Barnett)Rhynes
He worked many years for Coca Cola and as a construction contractor.
Mr. Rhynes spent his life in Texas.
He enjoyed reading western novels, playing Yatzhee and Solitaire with his beloved wife Betty, working in the yard, and sitting on the front porch.
He is survived by his three daughters Sheri (Michael) Tuer of Allen, TX., Stacy (Jack) Willoughby of Kingsville TX., and Janna (Will) Reynolds of Abilene, TX. and his son Christopher Rhynes formerly of Abilene, TX.; sister Marie of Abilene, Tx and brother Ray (Reba) Rhynes of Baird, Tx., 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 40 years Betty Blailock Rhynes, his 4 brothers Jimmy, Henry, Frank, and Leroy Rhynes, 2 sisters Francis Stello and Louis Hallford.
