Bruce Pappan, 81, of Ponca City, Okla., died Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the Stillwater Medical Center.
Son of Alvin and Bertha "Daisy" Pappan, Bruce was born Sept. 15, 1935, in Newkirk, Okla., graduated Newkirk High School, attended Oklahoma A&M College and Long Beach City College, and served in the Army.
On June 13, 1959, he married Janet Jenkins, in Newkirk. They resided in rural Ponca City. He retired from Conoco. Mrs. Pappan died Feb. 22, 2006.
