Jahue Fennel, 88, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at MUSC Florence. He was born in Lake City, SC, a son of the late Wiley Gaston Fennel and Ila Mae Heirs Fennel. He is also predeceased by two sisters, Willa Bell (Bernie) and Shelby Jean Turner (Preston); one brother, Wiley Levon Fennell; and a brother in law, Charles Gaskins. Jahue served in the US Marine Corp and then reenlisted in the US Army, from which he retired, having served in both the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. He was formerly employed with Chase Oil Company and was an independent long-haul truck driver. He was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church and he loved fishing.
