INFORMATION FROM RELATIVE cousin Margaret McCarthy ([email protected]) says Gail's first marriage was to James Lant on Feb 14 1969 in Battle Creek, Calhoun County MI, and he was a policeman. She was born with a missing hip socket, and her parents feared surgery so she walked with a pronounced limp all of her life. They gave her piano lessons, and she taught music after college and was quite active in theatrics. Her children: John Lant was a child whom James Lant's mother took in and when she died, James and Gail adopted, while Jamie and Jeremy are their natural sons. Larry Carrico's son Sean from a previous marriage is included in her survivors as well as his children. Patti Carrico is the wife of Larry's son Sean; Christina Lant is the wife of Jeremy.
