NOVEMBER 30, 1918 ~ MAY 29, 2019

Norma A. Ritchey, 100, of East Freedom, passed away Wednesday May 29, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona.
She was born November 30, 1918 in Pavia, daughter of the late Harry L. and Alma S. (Whysong) Benton.
She married Willard M. Ritchey March 17, 1946. He passed away June 14, 2008.
Surviving are a daughter Laurene (Ritchey-Wagner) Pooler, a son Gary W. Ritchey, grandchildren Heidi Wagner-Feathers (Ken), Steve Ritchey (Veronica) and Mike Ritchey (Kim), great granddaughters Erika Feathers and Presley Ritchey and sisters Viola Feathers and Floss Cox.
She was the oldest of ten children and was preceded in death by sister Shirley Dively, Ora Imler and Alda Benton and brothers Leland, Sherman, Sheldon and Rayford Benton.
Norma was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Claysburg. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking and canning.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Sunday June 2, 2019 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday June 3, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.
Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
