d/o Rev. Joshua and Sarah Hansford (Wade) Page.
m: Israel Thompson Morlan 4 Sep 1876 in Henry Co MO. He was born 18 May 1817 in Columbiana Co OH and died 16 Apr 1885 in MO. He also had a marriage to Lois Rossiter and to Lydia Fagan, who died Dec. 1874.
Delila was called "Delia" and "Emma".
1870 census she was living in her brother Joseph's household. 1880 census, Gun City Cass Co MO she is listed by herself as "Delila Morland". On the 1900 census, Index Twp. Cass Co MO she is listed as "Dlila Morlan", a widow alone in her household. Since she married late in 1876 and was alone by 1880 she appears to have had a short-lived marriage and no children. She was 37 yrs when she married Morlan and may have had a prior marriage.
Her stone is a modern one on an old base so appears to have been replaced by someone; it is unknown if the original stone used the name of Morlan. The current stone is difficult to read but doesn't appear to have a reference to Morlan.
The Henry Co Cemetery records list her as Delila E. Page; the cemetery was indexed in 1978 and 1996 - since there is no cross-reference to Morlan, her stone must have been Delila Page that far back.
Harriet (Quick) Little had the markers in Page cemetery repaired/replaced in the early 1900s, and this stone is clearly a replacement of the original. It is unknown why it is Page instead of Morlan as she officially died as Morlan.
