Ella Melissa Lowe, 86, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Dec 14, 1995.
Services will be at 2 pm, Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Rice of Bykota Baptist Church will be officiation. Burial will be in Liano Cemetery.
Mrs. Lowe was born in Duke County, Okla. She moved to Amarillo in 1950 from Plainview. She married John Lewis Lowe in 1928. He died in 1964. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Faye Couch, in 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of Bykota Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Clifton Lowe, Bobby Lee Lowe and Melvin Lewis Lowe, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Jerre G. Mitchell of Amarillo; two sisters, Alice Peters of Amarillo and Stella Jordan of Odessa; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
The family will meet with friends at noon Monday at Bykota Baptist Church.
