Jerre Genell Mitchell, 78 of Amarillo died Saturday, July 26, 2014.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Jerre was born Dec. 27, 1935, in Hale County to Lewis and Ella Lowe. Jerre enjoyed numerous hobbies including sewing, crocheting, and most of all fishing. Her generous and loving nature will be remembered by all.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Mitchell of Amarillo; a daughter, Sabrina Loflin of Amarillo; three granddaughters, Samantha Morris, Candice Martinez and Shawna Preciado, all of Amarillo; a grandson, Jerry Glen Mitchell of Lubbock; and nine great-grandchildren.
