Lawrence G. Cooling, 70, of Peoria, formerly of Rockford, died Friday in a Peoria hospital after a long illness. He lived 20 years in Rockford before moving to Peoria. He had been retired for several years. Services will be at 230PM Monday in Wilton Mortuary, Peoria. Burial will be in Peoria. Survivors include his wife, Eloise, a son, Thomas in California; a daughter, Edie, Peoria; a brother, Marsh in California; four sisters, Tilla, Martha and Barbara Cooling, all of Texas, and Agnes, Kewanee; and several nieces and nephews.
