Dale Thomas Dibb
1945 - 2018

Early Life: Dale was born January 15, 1945, in Murray, Utah, to Walter and Mary Liscinsky Dibb. Dale was raised in Draper, Utah, with his eight siblings: David, Doug, Durrell, Diane, Delores, Della, Donna and Dorothy.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Following he served an honorable mission in the Andes South Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dale returned to marry his sweetheart, Linda Newbold, in the Salt Lake Temple on August 18, 1967. They raised seven children: Kevin (Heidi), Gerald (Raquel), Darren (Jenny), Rochelle (Pete), Brian (Kim), Mindy (Brian) and Andrew (Brittani). Dale and Linda are now blessed with 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dale’s life is highlighted by decades of service to others. He served a total of four missions, one as a 20 year old, three with Linda, 18 months in Bolivia, a temple mission to Guatemala, and most recently, in a branch presidency at the MTC in Provo. A large majority of his life was spent playing sports, but more importantly to him, was the opportunity of coaching thousands of young people including his children, grandchildren and many others that he considers family. He’s known and affectionately called by those he coached as “Grandpa Dibb”. Dale loves his eternal companion and centered his life around his family, giving to others, and sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. His final message to all would be to build faith in Christ through loving and serving everyone. Dale Thomas Dibb passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family November 8, 2018, after a year-long struggle with cancer. He was 73.
