Mary Liscinsky Dibb
IVINS, Utah-- Mary Liscinsky Dibb, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away July 19, 2000 in Ivins, UT.
She was born Dec. 18, 1912 in Cifton, NJ, one of 15 children, to Nicholas and Sophia Liscinsky. She married Walter Dibb on June 27,
1936 in Passaic, NJ. Mary was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1938 and remained an active member in the church the remainder of her life. Mary and Walter moved to Utah in 1942. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 14, 1946. They served a work mission at the mission home in NY from 1971 to 1973. Mary served for a period of time as the Relief Society President of the Draper, UT LDS 4th Ward. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her husband: Walter Dibb of Ivins, UT; nine children: Delores (Robert) Kelly of Broomfield, CO; Dianne (Al) Forbis of Rexburg, ID; Della (Jay) Plewe of Mission Viejo, CA; David (Vivian) Dibb of Duluth, GA; Dale (Linda) Dibb of Alpine, UT; Donna (Terrell) Gunnell of Draper, UT; Dorothy (David) Walton of Salt Lake City, UT; Douglas (Roxanne) Dibb of Ivins, UT and Durell (Jayne) Dibb of Murray, UT; one sister: Helen Morositz of Clifton, NJ; 38 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 24, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Corner Canyon LDS 4th Ward Chapel, Draper, UT. A visitation will be Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Draper City Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221.
