Cecil G. Downs died January 26, 1990.
He was born November 15, 1903 in Cambridge, England to Samuel S. and Ada Mary Ann Forsdyke Downs. Cecil married Jessie Elizabeth Ericksen on December 27, 1928 in Provo, Utah. Jessie preceded him in death on October 29, 1985. Cec retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation after 42 plus years of service where he was a locomotive engineer.
Survived by step-daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Dona) Pulham, Orem; daughter, Mrs.Richard (Joan) Susaeta, La Harbra Heights, CA; sons, Gerald C., Ogden; Stephen L., Union; Phil G., Riverton; Dale K., Midvale; grandchildren, and great-Grandchildren; sisters, Mrs Ada Gordon, Tooele; Mrs. Winifred Olson, Concord, CA. Preceded in death by wife "Beth" and brother, Jesse.
