Elmer Otis Castor died Tuesday at the Sunset Manor Rest Home, Brush, Colorado at the age of 84. He was born January 19, 1892 at Wahoo, the son of the last Perry and Ella Castor. He grew up in the Lebanon community and married January 26, 1916 at Beaver City to Emma Bernhardt. They made their home in Lebanon until 1926 when they moved south of McCook where they lived for 8 years. They returned to the Lebanon community in 1932 and have lived in Morgan County, Colorado, since 1941. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Orchard, Colorado. His wife preceded him in death January 22 this year.

Survivors are four sons, Harold of Oberlin, Kansas, Floyd of Tampa, Florida, Francis of Phillipsburg, Kansas, and Perry of Klamath Falls, Oregon; one daughter, Mrs. M. E. (Marie) Dearsmith of Concordia, Kansas; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Earl of Denver and three sisters, Mrs. Opal Lockhart of Danbury, Mrs. Audra Ziebell of Holbrook and Mrs. Josephine Waterman of McCook.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jolliff Funeral Chapel in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The Rev. Raymond Smith will officiate. The Odd Fellows Lodge of Orchard will assist. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday in the Lebanon Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Herrick officiating. Friends may call at the Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook Thursday evening.
