Mrs. Julia H. Tinney.
Mrs. Julia H. Tinney, aged 89 years, died June 4th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John M. Janes, Poughkoepsie.
She was the daughter of Jacob and Susan de la Veigne Heusted.* In 1849 she married John Henry Baldwin. Ten children were born to them, of whom the following six survive: John J. Baldwin, Lewellyn Baldwin, Mrs. S. P. Lambert** and Mrs. Janes, of Poughkeepsie; William C. Baldwin, of Brooklyn and Mrs. Grace Van Hoesen, of Rochester.
She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her first husband died in 1879 and in 1888 she married C. W. Tinney, of Vine Valley, who died in 1901. About six years ago she returned to her early home in Poughkeepsie to make her home with her daughter.
Burial was made in Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery.
