Charles H. Baldwin
Charles H. Baldwin died Thursday night, April 14th, at his home near Rushville after an illness of three years, with nephritis, aged 67 years. Nearly all of his life has been spent in the town of Middlesex. Forty-seven years ago he was united in marriage with Miss Frances Mallory, of Poughkeepsie, and they lived there two years before coming here. They later resided in Canandaigua for a few years.
He is survived by his wife and by his mother, Mrs. C. W. Tinney, of Poughkeepsie; four sons, Dr. C. Irving Baldwin, of Patten, Pennsylvania, Dr. George Baldwin, of Hastings, Pennsylvania, Willis H. Baldwin, of Leroy, and Frank S. Baldwin, of Canandaigua; also three brothers, John and Lewis Baldwin, of Poughkeepsie, and William Baldwin, of Brooklyn; and three sisters, Mrs. John Janes and Mrs. Sadie Mambert, of Poughkeepsie, and Mrs. Grace VanHossen, of Rochester.
A prayer service was held at the home at 1:30 Monday afternoon, Reverend Dr. Moore officiating, and the body taken to Canandaigua for burial. The service at Woodlawn cemetery was in charge of Canandaigua Lodge, F.&A.M., of which Mr. Baldwin had been a member for many years.
The following relatives and friends from out of town attended the service here and accompanied the remains to Canandaigua: Dr. Irving Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Baldwin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. John Baldwin and Lewis Baldwin; also Mr. and Mrs. Howard Baldwin, of Geneva, Mrs. Minnie Newman and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rowland, of Rochester, Mrs. Belle Eaton, of Fairport, Mr. and Mrs. George Mallory and family, of Cheshire, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bentley and daughter, Dorothy, of Penn Yan, Mrs. Edna Wheeler and Myrta Pressey, of Canandaigua.

LeRoy, N. Y. - Willis H. Baldwin and family of Elm street have gone to Rushville, called there on account of the death of the former's father, Charles Baldwin, which occurred on Thursday night. Mr. Baldwin had been in failing health for some time, but his condition was not serious up to two weeks ago. He was about 65 years of age and, besides his son in LeRoy, leaves his wife and three other sons, Frank of Canandaigua and Dr. George Baldwin and Dr. Irving Baldwin, both of them located in Pennsylvania; also several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held from his late home in Rushville at 1:30 p.m. on Monday and at 3:30 o'clock at Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua, the Masons having charge of the services at the grave.
