Kathyleen Marberry 94, of Ardmore,AL died Friday, January 25, 2019 at her home.
Born Sunday, December 28, 1924 in Ardmore, AL, she was the daughter of Murphy and Gracie Heard.
Mrs. Marberry attended Shady Grove United Methodist Church for over 30 years. She worked many years at the Pants Factory in Ardmore. She loved her family and friends, loved to quilt, flowers and gardening, and was a very dedicated care giver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Blake Marberry; son, Terry Marberry; grandson, Bryson Sisk; son-in-law, Willard Hunter; brothers, Hubert, David, Alton, Harvel, and Elmer Heard; sisters, Odell Bishop, Lola Mae Ferguson, and Opal Hereford.
She is survived by sons, Horace and Sandra Marberry, Toney, AL, and Donald (Duck) and Wanda Marberry, Elkmont, AL; daughters, Judy Hunter, June and Lynn Layne, Glenis and Buster Stewart, and Becky and Stanley Sisk, all of Hazel Green, AL; daughter-in-law, Loretta Marberry, Toney, AL; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister - Marjorie Jones, Fayetteville, TN; three sister-in laws; one brother-in-law.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 4 PM until 7 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 12 Noon at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Tim Heard officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Sisk, Brandon Marberry, Darren Marberry, Jeffrey Marberry, Kelly Stewart, Brad Stewart, and Jeremy Sisk.
