Joseph E. Barr. 72, a contractor died Monday, November 4, 2002, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in earl. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Barr was a native of Enterprise, MS. He had lived in this area for 50 years. He was a self-employed contractor and a sportsman. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a U. S. Marines veteran, serving in Korea.
Survivors include: wife, Bea Barr of Brandon, MS; sons, Larry Barr of Brandon and Dennis Barr of New Orleans, LA; three stepchildren, Jimmy Watkins of Brandon, Barbara Sullivan of Alabama and Leslie Moore of Ridgeland, MS; brothers, Aubry (sic Aubrey) of Magee, MS, and David Barr of Brandon, MS; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
