Rosemary M. Schnitker, 85, of Pekin, passed away at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Pekin Manor.

Born October 11, 1932 in Pekin to Adolph and Anna (Shepard) Arnold, she married William James Schnitker. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kelly (Scott) Woodmancy of Manito; two sons, Shannon (Geri) Schnitker and David Schnitker, both of Manito; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters; one brother; and two great-grandchildren.

A homemaker, Rosemary enjoyed antiquing, shopping, eating out, decorating and gardening. She especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.

Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. There will be no visitation. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Illinois Chapter at 606 W. Glen Ave. Peoria, IL 61614.
