Ray I Weikert, 86, 364 Mount Hope Road, Fairfield, died Tuesday at Michael Manor.
He was born in Fairfield, and was the son of the late Jacob S and Susan Eckert Weikert. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and was a farmer in the Hamiltonban Township area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hare Weikert; a son, Ray I Jr., Hagerstown, Md.; one daughter,
Dorothy E Perry, Gettysburg; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; three brothers,
Preston, Maurice and Frank, all of Fairfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 form the Monahan Funeral Home, in Fairfield with the Rev. Carol S Hendrix, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
