Jacob S Weikert, 65, a life long resident of Fairfield, died at his home at 10:30 Friday morning of a complication of diseases. He was a life long farmer.
He was an active member of St. John's Reformed church, Fairfield and was a member of the consistory
at his death.
Mr. Weikert is survived by his widow Mrs. Susan A Weikert, and the following sons and daughters; Clarence S., Fairfield; Preston I., Fairfield; Miss Edith B. at home; Mrs. Norman T Cluck, Fairfield;
Earl J., York; Ray I., Virginia Mills; Mrs. Ray Keefer, Gettysburg RD; Maurice J., at home; Frank A., Fairfield; Mrs. Charles Swope, New Chester and Charles W., at home. Eleven grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive; J Mahlon., Fairfield, Edwin L., Gettysburg;
Mrs. William Harner, Freedom Township; Miss Emma J Weikert, Greenmount; Harry A., Orrtanna
and Mrs. William P., McKnightstown.
Brief funeral services from the home on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 with further services from St. John's Reformed Church the Rev. R W Lambert officiating. Interment at the Fairfield cemetery.
