Clarence E Weikert, 92, Biglerville R2, died Sunday morning at the Guilford Convalesarium in Fayetteville, where he had been a patient for two months.
Born May 22, 1889, in Hamiltonban Township of Adams County, he was the son of the late
Jacob S and Susan Eckert Weikert. His wife, the former Fannie Mickley, died in 1973.
HE was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for a number of years, and later became a self employed carpenter and painter.
He is survived by a daughter, Alice Orner of Arendtsville; two sons, Edwin S Weikert, Fairfield, and
Dale R Weikert, Biglerville; four brothers, Preston, Ray, Maurice an Frank, all of Fairfield; two sisters, Helen Swope, Biglerville, and Nora Keefer, King of Prussia; 11 grandchildren and
18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 at the Monahan Funeral Home, Fairfield, with
Rev. Donald E Stine officiating. Interment will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery.
