Services for Adelia Eloise Powell, 65, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa with the Rev. Robert A. Henning officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
Mrs. Powell died Thursday, April 30, 1992, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born July 15, 1926, at Grinnell, the daughter of Clarence R & Ethel D Cox Adams.
She lived in Topeka since 1976, moving there after living for 15 years in El Paso, Tex. Prior to that, she lived in the Lawrence and Topeka areas.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Shafer of Topeka; four sons, Keith of Garber, Okla., William of Breckenridge, Okla., Richard of West Warrick, R.I., and David of Topeka; one sister, Josephine Coffey of Lawrence; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
