Fred Oligschlaeger passed away on May 24, 2017 due to complications from Alzheimer's at age 84.
He was born on September 30, 1932 to George & Emma Oligschlaeger in St. Elizabeth, Missouri, were he lived on the family farm until he joined the Air Force in 1952, proudly serving in Korea and Greenland until 1956.
Fred was a brilliant engineer and inventor holding many patents throughout his career. He was an accomplished man with a creative mind and skilled hands and was especially proud of his company Spratronics, Inc., and his Variable Orifice Nozzle. He enjoyed all things outdoors including skiing, fishing, hiking and vacations in Chelan, WA., and spent many happy hours in the vegetable garden tending to the green beans and sweet corn.
He was a generous caring man who loved helping people and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by those who lives he touched.
Preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Mary Ann, Norbert and Joyce. Survived by Sister Evelyn, Wife Barbara, Daughters Sharon and Faith, Step-sons David, Deane and Chad, nine Grandchildren and two Great Grandsons.
