E.A. “Junior” Davis passed from this life on May 28, 2017 at the age of 87 at his home with family by his side. Junior was born on April 17, 1930 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Elzie Anson Davis Sr. and Nettie Grace (Bell) Davis.

Junior grew up and graduated from Warren. He also served his country in the United States Army and was proud of his service. Junior loved his farm and loved the hard work; he was always working and liked to work on his tractors. In his earlier years he was an avid coon hunter and later he and Helen would travel and go to Blue Grass Festivals. Junior loved to visit and would make his way every morning to the Warren Cafe.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Hilda, three sisters Ollie Moon, Linnie Erdle and Pauline Davis and three brothers Aaron “Pete” Davis, Arley Red” Davis and Carlos Davis.

He is survived by his wife Helen of the home, two sons Terry Davis and wife Lynn of Roosevelt and Rick Davis of Elgin, Oklahoma, one daughter Charlotte Branam and husband Gary of Hobart, three step-daughters Connie Biddy of Blair, Kelly McCannell and husband Edward of Lawton and Kim Collier and husband James of Blair, two brothers Marvin “Dude” Davis and wife Mary of Manson, Washington and Hollis Davis of Warren, three grandchildren Tyler Davis and Wife Micala of Altus, Lori Robbins and husband Billy of Hobart and Valerie Davis of Elgin, ten grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services for Junior are scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, 2017, 2:00 P.M. at Warren Cemetery with Pastor David Stewart officiating.
