Doris Louise Smith, 80, of Butler, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Sunnyview Home.

She was born September 30, 1936 in Butler, the daughter of the late Earl A. Hahn, Sr. and Anna (Stepp) Hahn.

Doris was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, the Saxonburg Lion's Club, Saxonburg Ladies Auxillary and the Butler Country and Western Association. Doris worked in food service at Clinton and Saxonburg Elementary Schools for many years. She enjoyed camping, going on trips with her sisters and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Deborah (Larry) Miller of Pittsburgh and Lisa (Joseph) Hughes of Renfrew; 4 grandchildren, Dylan Miller of Pittsburgh, Dustin (Gina) Miller of Tulsa, OK, Quinn and Haydn Hughes of Renfrew; 5 sisters, Janet (Jerry) Hoffman of Kennerdell, Diane Geohring of Saxonburg, Rose (John) Terlisner of TX, Becky (Jim) Bianchi of Butler and Patty (Skip) Daum of Butler; a brother, Rick (Chris) Hahn of Chicora; and an aunt, Beverly Lascoult of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Leroy Smith, brother, Earl A. Hahn, Jr. and her companion of many years, Lou Bender.

Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8PM. A prayer service will be held at 3PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler, on Monday, March 13th at 10AM with Father Harry Bielewicz officiating.

Interment in the Butler County Memorial Park.
