He was a 43-year employee of Weaver Manufacturing Co. and retired in 1968.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Ramsey and Audrey Ritz, both of Springfield; and Mrs. Marilyn Harrison of Des Plaines; one son, Gilbert of Springfield; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lela Blissett of Springfield; one brother, Chester of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at Staab Funeral Home.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
