1921 - 2005
Lois Evelyn Clark Ethington, 83, of Orem, Utah, a marvelous beautiful eternal companion for over 52 years passed away after a long siege with Alzheimer's March 27, 2005. She was born August 24, 1921 in Vowell's Mill, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, to Americus V. and Delia Mae Colston Clark. She graduated from the Provencal High School in June 1938 and later attended Business College in Shreveport, Louisiana. She met her future husband, Martin "L" Ethington, September 1951, who was serving in the United States Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. They were sealed July 9, 1952, in the Salt Lake Temple. They moved to Orem, Utah, on August 15, 1970. She compiled a history on her parents and authored the book Creative Wheat Cookery, which led to many lectures on bread sculpturing at Brigham Young University.
