Jackie Thomas (Tom "Hulk") Moore, 62, of Ironton, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at his residence. The Ironton, Ohio native was born January 6, 1954, a son of Richard Oney of Ironton and the late Susan White Oney.
 
Mr. Moore was a 1973 graduate of Ironton High School and a former employee of Gulf Chemical and Elam Coal Dock. He was a member of the VFW Post #8850, the Moose Lodge #701 and the Elks #350. He was also an avid Miami Dolphin and Kentucky Wildcat fan.
 
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by:
three sisters: Lilly Gee, Nancy Conn and Pauline Dickerson
two brothers: Dickie Moore and Junior Moore
 
In addition to his father, he is survived by:
two daughters: Tonya Gail Moore and Tomi Lynn Moore Smith both of Ironton
two grandchildren: Laikken Moore and Brendan Moore both of Ironton
four sisters: Betty (Bud) Browning of Wayne, WV, Ruby Kerns, Jane Blankenship, Peggy Ison all of Ironton
his companion of 16 years: Dottie Petry of Ironton
and his beloved pet Mandy
 
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Elder John Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
