Reese Byron Jones of Liberty Street died at 2:40 pm Saturday. He was born Aug. 19, 1865, in Venango County, son of Reese and Elizabeth Morgan Jones.
He lived in Franklin area all his life, and worked many years for R. E. Jones and Company of Franklin. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church and the Franklin Aerie of Eagles.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Adams of Franklin, Mrs. James Kinney of Franklin, and Mrs. Mary Oranda Sanford of Rocky Grove; and three brothers, David O. Jones of Franklin, Rev. J. K. Jones of Franklin, and Rev. E. T. Jones of Shippenville.
Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Barron Chapel with Rev. W. E. Freeman, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
