Bennett, Sallie Pine Bluff, July 31 - Mrs. Sallie Bennett, aged 68, died here today. She is survived by six daughters, who are: Mrs. E.L. Smith of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Don Phillips of Cornerstone, Mrs. Virgil Meroney of Cornerstone, Mrs. K.A. Smith of Hot Springs, Miss Letha Bennett and Miss Jeffie Bennett of Pine Bluff, and two sons, William L Barbre of Pine Bluff and J.T. Bennett of Warren. The body will be taken to Star City tomorrow for burial in Jones' cemetery.

Mrs. Sallie Bennett, aged 68, died today at 11:30 at the family residence 716 State St. Mrs. Bennett had been a resident of this city for six years, having been born in Georgia, coming to Arkansas 45 years ago, and residing for a long time at Star City.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. E. L. Smith of Pine Bluff, Mrs Don Phillips of Cornersville, Mrs. Virgil Meroney of Cornersville, Mrs. K. A. Smith of Hot Springs, Miss Letha Bennett of Pine Bluff, and two sons, W. L. Barbre of Pine Bluff and J. T. Bennett of Warren.
Deceased was a staunch member the Baptist Church at Star City. The funeral party will leave here in automobiles tomorrow at noon and will take the body to Star City for Interment in Jones Cemetery. Services will be held there tomorrow afternoon at 3:30, conducted by Rev. W.J.E. Cox, of this city.

The fact that Sally does not appear on the 1850 Census in the home with her family. Means that she was not born prior to 1850 leaving her birth year sometime after 1850.
