Mabel S. Bayly, 79, of 1850 : N. Waterman Ave., San ' Bernardino, died Sunday in a San Bernardino hospital. She was born in Mexico and was a 46-year resident of San Bernardino. Mrs. Bayly was a retired delivery driver for Western Union. She was a past member of the Commercial Telegraphers Local 48 of Los Angeles. She attended the Unity Church. After her retirement, she served as a crossing guard on Sierra Way in San Bernardino. Survivors include two brothers, Edward G. Ward of Glendale and Charles B. Ward of Seal Beach. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Mark B. Shaw Garden Room. Inurnment will be at Mt. View Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Society.
