MOOREVILLE Ruth Mae Collinsworth, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at her home in Mooreville. She was born Feb. 12, 1929, to Carroll and Mamie Beard Hunt. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing bingo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Andrews Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Ben Raper officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Collinsworth of Mooreville; four daughters, Linda Ellis and her husband, Charles, of Tupelo, Ann Langley and her husband, Bobby, of the Carolina community, Carolyn Tate of Shannon, and Mary Coryn and her husband, John, of Elkhart, Ind.; three brothers, Billy Hunt of East Prairie, Mo., Frank Hunt of Culvtin, Tenn., and Carroll “Jr.” Hunt of Nettleton; two sisters, Polly South and Francis Lee, both of Dorsey; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Martha McGhee and Dorothy McGhee; three sisters, Ruby Jean Hunt, Hazel Fowler and Pauline Betts; two brothers, Dalton Hunt and A.C. Hunt; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Michael Langley, Paul Ellis, Richard Ellis, Tommy Betts, Larry Betts, Cameron Tate, Mark Langley and Paul Moore.
