Carroll I. Hunt, 76, died Jan. 31, 1972 at the NMMC. He lived in the Fellowship Community of Lee County and was a retired farmer. Services were at Andrews Chapel Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mamie Hunt; five daughters, Mrs. James Betts of Tupelo, Mrs. Jimmy Lee Fowler of Nettleton, Mrs. Bill Settles of Macon, Ga., Mrs. Arlie Pruitt of Dresden, Tenn., and Mrs. Wade Chilcoat of Antioch, Ill.; three sons, Billy Hunt and Frank Hunt, both of Desden, and Junior Hunt of Saltillo; four sisters, Mrs. Billy Edwards of Auburn, Mrs. Mamie Boatner, Mrs. Lucille Potts and Mrs. Clara Edwards, all of Amory; two brothers, Clyde Hunt of Eggville and Buford Hunt of Mooreville; 42 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
