Ms. Annie Fred was educated in the public schools of Chester Couni. She worked at York General Hospital and in textile mills. She gave her live to Christ at an
early age and joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Annie served as a Missionary, was a former member of the musical Choir and the A P & B Society. Annie enjoyed attending gospel choir programs. She was known for_her_sharp wit, vivacious
personality and making people laugh.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, her husband, James Robert Douglas; son, Quenton Q. Douglas; sisters, Ruth Moffatt Hemphill, Almond Moffatt Brown and Mildred Moffatt Foster; brothers, Nathaniel Moffatt, Jay C.Moffatt, Clyde Moffatt, Marion Moffatt, James Warren Moffatt, Willie Autrey Moffatt and Horace Moffatt.
Those left to cherish her loving memories, two sons, Nikita J. Douglas (Juanita)and Angelo F. Douglas (Antwan) both of Rock Hill, SC; one sister, Lureatha M.Hoyles of Rock Hill, SC; sister-in-law, Annie Mae Moffatt of Brooklyn, NY; brother-in-law, Frank Brown of Chester, SC; five grandchildren, Antoine “Vas” Douglas of Newton, NC, Gordon Douglas, Jalissa Joseph, Iniki Douglas and De’Angela Douglas all of Rock Hill, SC; seven great-grandchildren one being her little helper, Endia Jennings; nephew of the home, Jeffrey Moffatt, Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
