Celia Ann Brashears, 84, of Saint Paul, Arkansas died January 11, 2001 at Washington Regional Medical Center at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born November 9, 1916, at Combs, Arkansas the daughter of William Henry and Nora Jane Shipp Thornsberry. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Audley C. Brashears on March 25, 1983, one son, Billy Charles Brashears on November 3, 1973, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Shirley Brashears of Saint Paul, AR; one daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Virgil Miller of Saint Paul, AR; two stepdaughters, Jimilee Ward and Christine Agostinelli both of Bakersfield, CA; two sisters, Pauline Eans and Wilma Carney both of Fayetteville, AR; three grandsons, Tony Brashears of Combs, AR, Ronnie Miller of Prairie Grove, AR and Randy Brashears of Newnan, Georgia; one granddaughter, Teresa Walker of Saint Paul, AR; one step-granddaughter, Eileen, of Bakersfield, CA; seven great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13th in the Brashears Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Stewart officiating. Interment was in the Brashears Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ronnie Miller, Benjamin Miller, Andrew Miller, Clifford Thornsberry, Frank Collins and Stuart Walker.
