SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. EVA WHITE

Services for Mrs. Eva White, 87, were held this afternoon at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Albia. Mrs. White died Saturday morning at the Monroe County Hospital.

Burial was in the Pleasant Divide Cemetery with the Rev. L. May of Indianola in charge. Downs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White was a long time resident of Monroe County. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Tom Rhoads of Oskaloosa; Mrs. G.h. Wellman of Eddyville; Mrs. Henry Billingsly of Condon, Ore.; Mrs. Ed Marshall of Bellflower, Calif.; Mrs. M.S. Gwinn of Kansas City, Mo.; and Mrs. Harold Wellman of Oskaloosa, 36 grandchildren and 70 great grandchildren. Two daughters and Mr. White preceded her in death. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kiernan, Mrs. Felisha Thomas and a brother Rolla Carr, all of Oskaloosa, also survive.


Pleasant Divide cemetery is also know as Seceder.
