Lena L. Lycan, 84, of Anderson, died on Dec. 7, 2015, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born on Nov. 8, 1931, in Muncie, to Eugene and Theodora (Auberson) Smith.
She graduated from Cowan High School and was a homemaker. She loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Howard Lycan, Joan (husband, Ronald) Banks, Ed (wife, Fran) Tedrow, all of Anderson, and Thomas Lycan of Florida; three brothers and two sisters, Bruce (wife, Judy) Thomas, Harold (wife, Joyce) Thomas, and Lois Arnold, all of Muncie, Harry (Kay) Thomas of Yorktown, and Dean Sells of Ridgeville; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell L. Lycan; six brothers and sisters; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Banks and Miranda Flowers.
Cremation will take place. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the funeral arrangements.
