Genevieve Bell (Abbott) Jackson, 85, St. Joseph, MO passed from this life on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO. She was born in St. Joseph, MO on August 7, 1930 to Joseph and Geneva (Crumb) Abbott.

Genevieve married Kenneth Jackson on June 20, 1968 in St. Joseph, MO and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2000. She was a hard worker and was all about her family. Genevieve enjoyed doing crafts for her family and was a member of the South Park United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Samuel Bradford; four brothers, Ira, William, Benjamin and George Abbott; two sisters Virginia Whitlock and Clara Lippold. Survivors include three sons, Donald Jr. (Lisa) Bradford, Virgina Beach, VA, Victor (Maggie) Bradford, Montgomery, AL, Dane (Julie) Bradford, St. Joseph, MO; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Bradford, St. Joseph, MO; ten grandchildren, Derrick, Timmothy, Benjamin, Christopher, Rachel Bradford, Destiny Lake, Alexandria Libby, Barbara Shryock, Brandi Ward, and Dane Bradford, II; and eight great grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be 2 PM. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Gladden – Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph, MO. Public visitation with family will one hour prior to service at the Funeral Home. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
