Burton E. Belling, age 95, of Neenah passed away on Saturday evening, October 31, 2015 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center as the result of a brief illness. He was born on July 4, 1920 in Appleton, Wisconsin, son of the late Albert and Emily (Adams) Belling. On August 30, 1941 he married Mabel Lopas in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The couple celebrated 19 years of marriage before Mabel's passing in April, 1960. Burton was proud to serve his country with the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Kimberly Clark in 1982 after over 40 years of service. Burt loved cars, racing, woodworking, watching parades, and photography. He was a decent, quiet, and modest man, who will be greatly missed by his family.He is survived by his children: Michael (Judy) Belling, Neenah, Janet Belling, Neenah, David Belling, Hayward, WI, Barbara Belling, Madison; granddaughter, Rebecca (Steve) Abler, Manitowoc; great grandsons: Matthew and Benjamin Abler; and a special family friend, Connie Meek, Hayward. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Kathy Belling; 6 brothers; 3 sisters.A private family service for Burt will be held. He will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
